AASA, joined by ten other education organizations, submitted comments to the Department of Homeland Security urging them to rescind the new public charge rule. We express concerns that this proposal, as drafted, would deprive our nation鈥檚 students of critical resources by creating fear that participating in certain programs could jeopardize their legal immigration status.
