Leading The Public Education Promise in Ohio

SOAR Ohio, presented by Âܲ·AVÊÓƵin partnership with BASA, is a regional hub of AASA’s EdLeader Promise Network.

This collaborative community is specifically designed to support Ohio superintendents and their teams as they create future-ready systems that prepare every child for success in college, career, and life.

This collaboration unites national perspective with local leadership, forging a shared vision that is evidence-based, future-focused, and responsive to the distinct strengths and aspirations of Ohio.

SOAR remains centered on one purpose: helping district teams lead action research that advances the Public Education Promise in ways aligned to Ohio’s context.

Four Core Goals for Every SOAR Ohio District

Strengthen understanding of each principle and what it means for leadership in Ohio.

Plan and try small actions that are low lift and high impact.

Study impact and share learning through evidence, artifacts, and statewide reflection.

Grow leadership using the Leadership Practices Rubric to support district teams.
