This study involving 280 public school principals within ten states sought to identify the types of educational journals school principals read.
The findings indicate that the majority of principals are reading practical and timely publications provided by professional organizations rather than peer-reviewed journals. Educational Leadership, Education Week, NASSP Bulletin and AASA’s The School Administrator were the most frequently read periodicals.
