STATE OF THE SUPERINTENDENCY

AASA鈥檚 鈥淪tudy of the American School Superintendency 2000鈥� declared that 鈥渢he superintendency is an aging profession.鈥� Two decades later, the picture is changing. Younger educators are serving as superintendents.

According to an 萝卜AV视频membership survey conducted last fall, slightly more than 12 percent of sitting superintendents were age 60 or older. Ten years prior, that age category approached 20 percent.
