STATE OF THE SUPERINTENDENCY

Slightly more than half of all superintendents nationwide have employment agreements that include detailed listings of their duties, according to AASA鈥檚 survey last fall of 2,077 superintendents on job-related issues.

Only a quarter of those surveyed said their employment contract included a specific process for handling complaints and criticisms.
