AASA's Leadership for Well-being and Learning Cohort provides a comprehensive approach to supporting the mental, emotional, and academic success of students and staff.
With access to expanded resources and opportunities for collaboration, you'll create strategic plans that promote resilience, growth, and thriving school environments. Join a vibrant community of leaders dedicated to fostering inclusive practices where both well-being and learning flourish.
Learning Objectives:
- Collaborate as a community of practice to learn about and develop strategies for integrating well-being initiatives with academic goals
- Participate in virtual and in-person site visits to see how wellness and learning strategies are implemented in various districts across the country
- Learn from expert practitioners and researchers about innovative strategies that are making a lasting impact
- Access national resources and services to support the well-being and academic success of students and staff
Superintendents, district staff, building leaders, and educational leaders who are dedicated to advancing well-being and learning initiatives in their schools and districts.
One registration per district/organization unlocks the full cohort experience: all virtual sessions, plus one complimentary registration to the fall site visit and spring summit.
Team members may join all virtual sessions at no additional cost. They may attend the site visit and summit at a registration cost of $300 per person. The program manager will contact the registrants for team member information to ensure teams receive virtual meeting invitations, Canvas access, and program communications.

November 11 - 13, 2026: Cohort Site Visit | New Canaan Public Schools (Conn.) | This site visit is exclusively for registered cohort members and their team!
May 3 - 5, 2027: Leadership for Well-Being and Learning Summit |Madison Metropolitan School District (Wisc.) | This summit is open to all leaders. Registered cohort participants receive one complimentary Summit registration and can add team members at a discounted rate.
