Thirty percent time savings for teachers! Personalized learning for every student! Automated operations and customer service! The promise of AI is sky high. But realizing that promise will be no easy feat—especially as the volume of federal and state AI policies grow, raising expectations for privacy, safety, and equity in K-12 schools.
EAB’s latest survey data show that while 60% of districts have launched pilots to find innovative uses for AI, just 35% have established clear guidelines for when and how teachers can use this new technology. Why does this matter? Without clear expectations, distrust and anxiety among parents, teachers, and students will prevent the district from advancing truly game-changing applications when they become available.
In this webinar, EAB expert Sadé Young and Mike Moan, Superintendent of Woodstock CUSD 200 in Illinois, will discuss what schools must consider when preparing for lasting AI use in schools, and how Woodstock CUSD brought those requirements to life. During this session, you will learn.
What districts must consider when preparing to unlock innovation and efficiency with AI
How to evaluate your district’s readiness for safe and supported use of AI in schools
How to avoid common missteps that erode confidence and trust among teachers, students, and staff
Participants will be given access to EAB’s AI Pulse Check as part of this session.
