Minerva Pardo is the Director of Family and Community Engagement and Migrant Education at West Valley School District #208, where she leads district-wide initiatives to strengthen family-school partnerships. She has developed programs such as adult ELL education, Play and Learn groups, kindergarten readiness, and migrant parent engagement, as well as a literacy program for adults through Plazas Comunitarias, which provides a pathway toward earning a GED. As a certified trainer of the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework, Minerva facilitates workshops in English and Spanish that help parents, educators, and community members build resilience, support child well-being, and address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
