Milton Batiste III
Milton Batiste, III is a seasoned education leader with more than 20 years of experience across teaching, school administration, and district leadership. He began his career as a classroom teacher and advanced to assistant principal and principal, where he led initiatives to improve academic outcomes and school culture. Mr. Batiste later served as a school transportation supervisor, overseeing safe, efficient operations and leading one of the largest systemwide transformation efforts in his parish. As Executive Director of School Leadership for East Baton Rouge Parish, he guided strategic improvements in curriculum, instruction, and leadership development. An elected official, he brings a valuable governance and policy perspective to district leadership. Mr. Batiste is a forward-thinking leader committed to building high-performing, student-centered school systems.
