Melissa Fahrenbruch BS, MEd is embarking on her 20th year as a lead public health analyst in the Division of Adolescent and School Health, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Melissa earned a BS in Education from the University of Nebraska, and a master鈥檚 in educational leadership from Doane University while playing and coaching golf collegiately earning her several accolades, including Coach of the Year. She has over 30 years of experience in the education field as a teacher, coach, high school principal and currently serving as a team lead at CDC. Melissa currently oversees two school health cooperative agreements for states, tribes, Universities and national organizations and is the lead for professional development for CDC staff and funded partners. Melissa resides in The Villages, FL with her husband Fred and their two dachshunds Hogan and Lucy.
