Marcus Wood, Ed.D., proudly serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services for the Desert Sands Unified School District (DSUSD), supporting approximately 26,000 students. He previously held roles as Senior Director of Secondary Education and as both a high school and middle school principal鈥攁ll within DSUSD. Throughout his career, Dr. Wood has earned recognition at both the site and district levels for his leadership and commitment to systems of change that drive continuous school improvement. He is deeply passionate about creating positive, impactful experiences for all students by fostering high levels of learning and support that prepare them for college, career, and life.
