Christina M. Kishimoto

Founder and CEO, Voice4Equity LLC

Dr. Christina M. Kishimoto is the founder and CEO of Voice4Equity LLC, a national organization focused on education policy leadership, technology innovations and culturally responsive strategies. Dr. Kishimoto is also a Clinical Professor of Education at the USC Rossier School of Education doctoral program teaching courses on race, power and leadership. She was selected as a 2025 Pahara Fellow.

A native of the South Bronx in New York City, she is a bold advocate for social justice and a national leader on education policy and equity matters. Prior to founding Voice4Equity, Christina served as State Superintendent of Education for Hawaii and on Governor David Ige’s Cabinet. She also served as district Superintendent for the Hartford Public Schools in Connecticut and for the Gilbert Public Schools in Arizona.

Christina has served on a number of boards including the Education Commission of the States, Council of Chief State School Officers, the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents - where she served twice as President, the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, and as a Grupo 21 Advisory Board Member.

Christina has a daughter who serves as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, and lives in Vancouver, WA.
