Chris Thomas is a middle school science teacher and district Technology Consultant for Ann Arbor Public Schools with 25 years of experience helping students and educators use technology in meaningful ways. Twice honored as Teacher of the Year and invited to the 2023 National Teacher of the Year Ceremony at the White House, Chris has led work in blended learning, remote instruction, and national educator networks reaching over 35,000 teachers. Passionate about student voice, he partners with the University of Michigan on digital wellness and AI Literacy and leads district efforts to integrate AI responsibly. Chris also proudly serves on the MACUL Board of Directors.
