Alisha K. Byrd, Ed.S., NBCT, is the Director of Special Education with over 20 years in public education. She has served as a teacher, literacy coach, consultant, and administrator within Oakland County, Michigan. A lifelong learner and advocate for educational equity, she holds degrees in Special Education and Reading, a National Board Certification in Literacy, and is a Ph.D. candidate in Inclusive Leadership at Wayne State University. She is committed to fostering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences for all students.
